We expected to see these sooner: the Grand Prairie AirHogs are first to let us know about a promotion centered around the notorious OctoMon.The Grand Prairie AirHogs (independent; Amerian Association) released their 2009 Promotions Calendar today, announcing “OctoMom Night” and “A.I.G. Bailout Night.”

“OctoMom Night,” expected to be a tongue-in-cheek promotional take on the nationally sensationalized, Suleman octuplets, will feature between-inning skits and games, including a Diaper Derby, Stroller Race, and “Guess How Many Buns Are in My EZ Bake Oven?” trivia game. Groups of eight or more will be offered half-price admission, and if the AirHogs score eight or more runs during the game, every fan will receive a ticket to a future game.

A.I.G. (or “AirHogs Investment Group”) Bailout Night, on June 16th, will feature a post-game $1,000 giveaway to 20 lucky fans. After fans are randomly drawn each half inning, one thousand dollars in $1 bills will be spread across center field and participants will be allowed to make a mad dash to collect as much cash as they can stuff in their pockets.
