The management of the new Frontier League franchise will unveil a logo, moniker and more.
We have several teams unveiling new logos and marks this week — including Lowell and Mahoning Valley — while the Frontier League’s Avon Professional Baseball will announce the winner of the Name the Team Contest at the official unveiling ceremony this Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Avon City Hall.
More than 800 ideas for the team name were submitted since the beginning of the contest on October 7th. The names were narrowed down to the final seven and fans were given the opportunity to vote for their favorites. Plan B Branding, a creative ideas company was hired to develop the selected name into a full brand platform complete with logos, uniforms and mascots.
