Thanks to a pair of new partnerships, the Gary SouthShore RailCats (independent; American Assocation) are mixing up the food and beverage options at U.S. Steel Yard. Renovations on Track at Walker Stadium
The renovation project at Walker Stadium looks to be on schedule, according to an update from the Portland Pickles (summer collegiate; Great West League). The Pickles, who are set to be charter members of the new Great West League, anticipate that upgrades to Walker Stadium will be complete by the team’s home opener on June 10. (more…)

Ports Extended PDC with A’s

Flying Tigers to Henley Field for 2016
A major renovation to Joker Marchant Stadium is forcing the Lakeland Flying Tigers (High A; Florida State League) to play their entire home schedule at Henley Field. The classic ballpark, which primarily serves as the home of Florida Southern College‘s baseball program, will begin its run as the Flying Tigers’ temporary venue tonight for an Opening Day matchup with the Tampa Yankees.
