Should they draw just over 5,000 fans to tonight’s game, the Birmingham Barons (Class AA; Southern League) will set a new attendance record at Regions Field. The grand total needed for the 7:05 game against the Montgomery Biscuits is 5,184 attendees, which would set a new mark for total attendance in a five-game home series. (more…)
Keys Broadcasters to Call Game from Bikes
In a unique promotion, Frederick Keys (High A; Carolina League) broadcasters Geoff Arnold and Doug Raftery will call the game on June 5 while riding exercise bikes. Changes Made to Yard Goats’ June Schedule
With Dunkin’ Donuts Park still under construction, the Hartford Yard Goats (Class AA; Eastern League) will play home games on the road through at least June 16. The Eastern League has announced that the Yard Goats will play two more series at Norwich’s Dodd Stadium, with a third home slate to played at Reading’s FirstEnergy Stadium. (more…)
