Bucks: More improvements on tap at Riverfront Stadium

Waterloo BucksImprovements to Riverfront Stadium, home of the Waterloo Bucks (summer collegiate; Northwoods League), continue, with new seating and a new field on tap for 2012.

The front row of seats are already gone as part of a $10,000 plan to raise the seating area (which is subject to flooding) and installing new aluminum seats to replace the damaged plastic seats. Also on tap this season: a $20,000 renovation of the field, which hasn’t been in the best of shape for several years after being damaged by flooding.

Riverfront Stadium has certainly changed over the years: the concessions were expanded in 2007 and new clubhouses installed in 2009. Time for a return visit, it would seem.
