The Coastal Plain League's Gastonia Grizzlies and Forest City Owls will square off in a midnight game July 9.The Gastonia Grizzlies and Forest City Owls (summer collegiate; Coastal Plain League) will square off in a July 9th "Midnight Madness Game, which will feature a pregame party where fans can play catch with the Grizzlies and watch a Grizzlies Home Run Derby. The Grizzlies plan to have discounts for fans wearing pajamas and big prizes for fans that stay past midnight.
"The Midnight Madness game will be the first of its kind in the Coastal Plain League and it has already generated a lot of buzz," said General Manager Jesse Cole.
