MLB to Test Experimental Rules, Equipment in Atlantic League
Major League Baseball will test experimental playing rules and equipment initiatives in the Atlantic League beginning in 2019, part of a three-year partnership with the independent circuit. Mudcats Will Play as Micro Brews in Four 2019 Games
The Carolina Mudcats (High A; Carolina League) will adopt an alternate moniker to honor parent club Milwaukee Brewers this season, playing as the Carolina Micro Brews in four games.
