The El Paso Chihuahuas (Class AAA; Pacific Coast League) signed a three-year radio deal with Townsquare Media to broadcast all games on ESPN 600 AM, with Tim Hagerty signed on as voice of the team.
The deal was announced today by GM Brad Taylor.
“We are thrilled to be part of the Townsquare Media and 600 AM ESPN family,” said Alan Ledford, MountainStar Sports Group President. “Chihuahuas fans will now have the ability to listen live to all 144 home and away games, and to get insights about their team on El Paso’s favorite sports talk radio station.”
“As the market leader for total sports coverage – 600 ESPN is proud to add the El Paso Chihuahuas to our line up,” Brad Dubow, 600 ESPN Vice President and General Manager said. “We’re honored to have been chosen to be a part of this new era for El Paso professional sports.”
Hagerty was the voice of the Tucson Padres and will return for his 11th season in Minor League Baseball.
