The UFL is a four-team startup designed as a six-week fall league (wrapping up by Thanksgiving) featuring prospects and the occasional NFL retread, such as Michael Vick. We don’t expect many baseball venues to be part of the USL’s plans, although Citi Field has been tossed around as a potential home for the New York City franchise. Other teams in the league include Las Vegas and Orlando.
