2008 Executive of the Year: Joe Ricciutti, Staten Island Yankees

Joe Ricciutti, who turned around the Staten Island Yankees (short season; NY-Penn League) over the last two seasons, is the recipient of the Executive of the Year citation in the 2008 Ballpark Digest Awards.

Joe Ricciutti, who turned around the Staten Island Yankees (short season; NY-Penn League) over the last two seasons, is the recipient of the Executive of the Year citation in the 2008 Ballpark Digest Awards.

Ricciutti has also overseen enhancements to Richmond County Bank Ballpark, including an outfield LED video wall and a newly upgraded LED video scoreboard. He’s also managed to grow the Staten Island Yankees staff to 25 full-time staff members, up from 12 in 2006.
