Danny DiPace is the new president/GM of the rebranded Fullerton Flyers (independent; American West Baseball League), with the team still in search of investors.
DiPace has plenty of experience in the area, serving as a first-base coach for the Orange County Flyers (independent; Golden Baseball League) in 2007-2008.
The team also unveiled a new logo on its Facebook page. Also on its Facebook page is a plea for investors: “If you are interested in owning part of the fullerton flyers e-mail us at info@fullerton-flyers.com.” It doesn’t appear as through the team has done much other than commissioning the new logo: the team’s website is a Go Daddy placeholder and there’s no lease announced for a home.
