For the second straight year, the Boise Hawks (Short Season A; Northwest League) have posted an attendance increase.

Including Friday night’s crowd of 3,892, the Hawks finished their home schedule with a total of 114,476 fans over 37 openings. That amounted to an average of 3,094 fans per game, the team’s highest since 2000.

“We couldn’t be more pleased in regards to the response from our fans in the Treasure Valley,” stated Bob Flannery, Boise Hawks General Manager. “There was a significant increase last year in our attendance and it is great to see that we can announce another banner year at the gates. Each night the team on the field, our part-time employees and our all-star front office staff put on a great show.”

Entering Friday, the Hawks had sold out 12 games. Reserved seating to Friday’s contest was competely sold out prior to the game, leaving just standing room only tickets.
