The Big 12 Conference baseball tourney will take place at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark through 2020, as the tournament contract was extended four more years.
Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, home of the Oklahoma City Dodgers (Class AAA; Pacific Coast League), was already slated to host the 2016 Phillips Big 12 Baseball Championship and will now host the next five baseball championships with the extension.
“The OKC Dodgers are proud to partner with the Oklahoma City All Sports Association and the Big 12 Conference on hosting this premier event,” said OKC Dodgers President/General Manager Michael Byrnes. “The Bricktown community and Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark are the perfect location for this event and the fans that support it.”
Oklahoma City has hosted the Big 12 Baseball Championship 16 of the last 19 years, including 10 of the last 11 years.
