The New Hampshire Fisher Cats will honor tickets issued honored by the American Defenders of New Hampshire.The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Class AA; Eastern League)announced that they will honor tickets held by fans of the American Defenders of New Hampshire for any remaining regular season games at Holman Stadium for tickets to one of the four following Fisher Cats 2009 regular-season games at Merchantsauto.com Stadium: Thursday, August 27 (7:05pm) vs the Harrisburg Senators, Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals; Friday, August 28 (7:05pm), Sunday, August 30 (6:35pm), or Monday, August 31 (7:05pm), vs the Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
"We feel that New Hampshire baseball fans who made the decision to attend a baseball game in New Hampshire deserve the chance to do so," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner. "Anyone holding a ticket to a cancelled Defenders game may exchange it to come and enjoy our Double-A level of baseball entertainment."
"This is in character for the Fisher Cats to make such a generous offer," said Manchester Mayor Frank Guinta. "I know from my own personal experience what a wonderful time it is for the whole family to attend a Fisher Cats game, and we welcome Defenders fans with open arms."
