The 2009 Independent Fall Meetings are headed for Chicagoland. Harrah’s Casino in downtown Joliet, Illinois will host the 2009 Independent Fall Meetings from October 5th through October 7th, 2009.
The Independent Fall Meetings are a gathering of Independent Professional Baseball Executives to review the previous season, exchange operational and promotional concepts, and to promote the continued growth of the industry.
"These Fall meetings provide an excellent opportunity for meaningful dialogue and the exchange of ideas among some of the premier Independent baseball franchises,” said Pat Salvi, owner of the Gary Southshore Railcats of the Northern League. “As an owner of a team in the Northern League, I have no doubt this will be a terrific event and very important for any Independent franchise operator to attend."
