Billings and Princeton announce PDC extensions.
Though the signing period is technically completed, we’re still receiving word about some extensions. Under the heading of Duh!, the Billings Mustangs (rookie; Pioneer League) and the Cincinnati Reds extended their PDC through 2012. The extension was totally expected; the only real news was regarding the length. In the rookie Appalachian League, the Princeton Rays and the Tampa Bay Rays announced an extension through 2010. Good news for the Appy League, which is still in business despite some predictions in recent years about its demise.
