The Choctaw Lazy River will be debuting on Friday, June 10 as part of a special event, as Dr Pepper Ballpark hosts Dirk Nowitzki’s 2016 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game. Its first run during a Frisco RoughRiders (Class AA; Texas League) game will occur on Saturday, June 11, when the RoughRiders return for the beginning of a nine-game, eight-day homestand. (more…)
A major milestone has been completed for the Frisco RoughRiders’ (Class AA; Texas League) Choctaw Lazy River, which is now filled with more than 68,000 gallons of water. This puts the much-anticipated project on target for its June 11 opening. (more…)

A new college tournament will hit the Minor League Baseball landscape next spring, when the Frisco RoughRiders (Class AA; Texas League) host the first Frisco College Baseball Classic. Running from March 3-5, this tournament at Dr Pepper Ballpark will feature four NCAA Division I programs: the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, University of Arizona Wildcats, University of Nebraska Cornhuskers, and Oklahoma State University Cowboys.
