The Hartford Yard Goats (Class AA; Eastern League) are set to accomplish a major milestone Saturday, as they are expected to welcome their one-millionth fan.
Since their debut at Dunkin’ Donuts Park in 2017, the Yard Goats have consistently posted strong attendance numbers. That has put the team on the verge of welcoming its one-millionth fan, which it is slated to do on Saturday evening when it hosts the Altoona Curve.
Gates will open at 4:30 PM for the 6:05 PM contest between the Yard Goats and Curve. The one-millionth fan will receive free Dunkin’ for an entire year, and also win a Yard Goats uniform jersey, cap and throw out the first pitch before the game.
