Fresh off her historic Wimbledon run, tennis star Venus Williams will be meeting fans at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium on July 27 to promote her interior-design firm, V*Starr Interiors, which oversaw the ballpark’s suite renovations.
Earlier this year, Venus Williams’ interior design firm, V*Starr Interiors, was selected as the design company for the remodel of Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium’s six luxury suites, a project that marked the first design in sports for the firm. The project included an extensive facelift for the nearly 20-year-old suites and concluded in late February prior to the 2018 spring-training season.
A “Night with V*Starr” will begin with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony by Williams at 5 p.m. Members of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, representatives of V*Starr Interiors as well as other partners of Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium will all be in attendance. Directly following the ceremony, Sonya Haffey, Vice President of V*Starr Interiors and Venus Williams will conduct select media interviews.
A special $15 ticket package is available for the first 200 fans, which includes a ticket to that evening’s game, between the Dunedin Blue Jays and Jupiter Hammerheads, and a Diary Tee courtesy of EleVen by Venus Williams, Venus’ athleisure clothing brand. Five dollars of every package purchased will be donated to the Williams Sisters Fund in support of the Yetunde Price Resource Center, an organization dedicated to assisting individuals adversely affected by community violence to identify, access and utilize support services that already exist in the community.
Of the 200 fans to purchase the special $15 package, 10 children ages 5 to 15 years old will be selected for a meet and greet with Venus Williams. All 10 selected will also receive an autographed EleVen by Venus Williams visor. All packages must be purchased in advance before Thursday, July 26 at noon to be considered for the meet and greet.
