With the 2018 season just around the corner, the Durham Bulls (Class AAA; International League) have unveiled nine different homestand food specials. The menu offerings for Durham Bulls Athletic Park were created by Bull City Hospitality, the team’s food and beverage company.
The 2018 season will feature a combination of a Fried Bacon-Wrapped Footlong Hot Dog, BBQ Brisket Sandwich, Loaded Tater Tots, Fried Pretzels, Meatloaf Sliders, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Fried Apple Pie, Fried Burger with Boom Boom Sauce and Chicken Tender and Fries Sandwich. Each of these items will be featured for one homestand during the season, with the most popular items returning towards the end of the year.
“Every year Bull City Hospitality is tasked with developing fun, creative food items our fans will enjoy,” Durham Bulls Vice President Mike Birling said. “I can’t wait for fans to get their hands on some of these concoctions to help them further enjoy their experience at the DBAP.”
Fans will determine the season’s first homestand special, as they have the opportunity to choose between the Fried Bacon-Wrapped Hot Dog, Loaded Tater Tots, Fried Pretzels and BBQ Brisket Sandwich. The food items not selected will be scheduled for a later homestand in the season. Voting has begun here, and is slated to end at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 30.
