The Green Bay Bullfrogs (summer collegiate; Northwoods League) are embracing their cheesehead-state status with a new alt jersey dominated by a cheese theme.
The jersey will be worn during both select road and home games throughout the season and will be auctioned off late in the season.
The design came from Green Bay East’s graphic design class as part of a design contest.
“Partnering with the Bullfrogs and Big Top Baseball on this project was wonderful,” said Mark Dix, teacher of Design 2 Art at Green Bay East. “I was looking for a real world project for the students to participate in to show them what it meant to meet deadlines, work with project guidelines and this was an ideal project at a great time for our class. I was thrilled with the response from the students and the quality work they put together. It has been great seeing the student’s responses to the winning design.”
Designer of the winning uniform: Alex Alvarez-Gonzalez. This uniform is the first of two alternate uniforms the Bullfrogs will unveil this year.
