Another new logo release today, as the West Virginia Power (Low A; Sally League) unveils an interwoven “WV” logo on their road and alternate home hats for the 2016 season.
The design was a collaboration between the Power front office and Brandiose, a marketing and brand management firm based in San Diego, Cal.
“We wanted to add a new team mark that stood out to designate where we are from,” said Ken Fogel, West Virginia Power executive vice president. “Several Major League franchises have logos that inspired this design, which blends the “W” and “V” in West Virginia and adds a custom flair for the Power. It will help boost our brand even further.”
The West Virginia Power have had two primary logos since the team’s inception in 2005. The current primary logo and the club’s baseball-themed secondary mark will remain. This new logo will be featured on a black road hat. It will also been worn at home on a white cap with a black bill as an alternative option to the current home hats.
