This is getting to be regular news: the Birmingham Barons (Class AA; Southern League) set another attendance mark, this time for season totals at Regions Field.
Monday’s official attendance was 4,363. The crowd put the season’s attendance total at 439,696, making it the highest-attended season of Barons baseball at Regions Field, and second-highest attended season in franchise history. It is the highest-attended season since 1994 (467,867). Last month the Barons set a record for per-game attendance, while in May the team set a Sunday attendance mark.
