It's been a long time since a Winston-Salem team sold out a pro baseball game, but the Winston-Salem Dash (High Class A; Carolina League) have sold out Friday night's game at BB&T Ballpark and are close to selling out Saturday and Sunday's matches. This comes after the Dash sold out Opening Night and reported strong crowds the remainder of that homestand.
As of Thursday afternoon, the Dash led the Carolina League in both total attendance (27,684) and average attendance (4,614).
