We doubt it will never die out completely: Cincinnati’s parade is still going strong. Scheduled for April 6, the parade will make its way downtown to Great American Ballpark, with Frank Robinson serving as grand marshall. For the first time an active player will participate: Branson Arroyo will be on hand.
In Charleston, the Charleston RiverDogs (Low Class A; Sally League) are holding a pregame Welcoming Parade as part of the Opening Night festivities. It’s also a Thirsty Thursday, so you can expect a good crowd on hand.
But is this it? Let us know if your team is planning an Opening Day parade — just leave a comment at the end of this article.
