Despite a snowier-than-normal winter, construction on Huntington Park, the new home of the Columbus Clippers (Class AAA; International League) is right on schedule.
There’s still a lot to be done before the ballpark opens on April 18, and the harsh winter in the Midwest isn’t helping things. Works on the seats and finish work throughout still needs to be completed, while indoor work is far from done. But there’s still a lot of time for all of it to be finished.
The Clippers hope to average 9,000 or so fans nightly at the new ballpark.
