Despite worst winter in years, Avon ballpark construction goes on

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the construction site of the new Lake Erie Crushers ballpark is delightful.
Despite the worst Ohio winter in recent years, construction continues on schedule at the new home of the Lake Erie Crushers (independent; Frontier League).

The nine inches of snow that fell last week didn’t keep construction workers from laboring at the plastic-clad grandstand, putting up walls and brickwork. The $12-million ballpark is slated to open in June.
