The Joliet Slammers (independent; Frontier League) are throwing the World’s Greatest Ticket Exchange Policy in Sports promo tomorrow night, where fans are invited to redeem any ticket for admission.
Fans can redeem their ticket stubs from any sporting event (used or unused) for free admission to watch the Joliet Slammers take on the Frontier Greys at Silver Cross Field at 7:05 p.m.
“We challenge ourselves every day to add value to our fans experience at Silver Cross Field,” General Manager Chris Franklin said. “We’ve had the never a wasted ticket policy for our fans and they truly enjoy the flexibility. This is our way of introducing the idea to other sports fans in the area that didn’t know about our policy. It also provides them an opportunity that might not be available to them at other venues for one night.”
Eligible ticket stubs include all levels of sports from Little Leagues to Major Leagues and all sports ranging from Lacrosse to NFL football. The ticket stubs can be from any date, used or unused.
“There’s no way of knowing whether or not the ticket has been used and that’s okay,” Franklin said. “We hope the fans were able to enjoy their event and now receive this added bonus. It’s also a great opportunity to see our beautiful ballpark and sign up for the five thousand dollar fan giveaway on Aug. 29.”
Several prizes will be given out for the oldest ticket stub, the most unique, the biggest waste of money, the best value, and the “I couldn’t pay somebody to go to this game” ticket stubs. Fans that already have purchased tickets for this event can turn in their stubs to enter the contests and win Slammers prizes.
