PSC lands High Desert Mavericks concessions deal

High Desert MavericksProfessional Sports Catering, LLC, in conjunction with Main Street Baseball announced that Professional Sports Catering will manage the food and beverage operation at Stater Bros. Field, home of the High Desert Mavericks (High Class A; California League).

The partnership between PSC and Main Street Baseball began in 2009 with the ownership group’s other team, the Quad Cities River Bandits (Low Class A; Midwest League). Together, PSC and the River Bandits made great improvements in food quality and variety at Modern Woodmen Park. PSC will bring the same quality product and service to the Mavericks’ operation in High Desert.

“It is no accident that the very first thing we did once we bought the team was to bring in PSC to handle the concessions. Our relationship with them has been the epitome of a great partnership,” said Dave Heller, Managing Member of Main Street Baseball. “We work closely together and grow each other’s business while providing our fans with outstanding food, huge portions, great service and fair prices.”

PSC will manage all aspects of the food operation, including concessions and staffing for all Mavericks games. They will work closely with management to develop and serve a selection of both local and traditional food options.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Main Street Baseball in High Desert,” said Tom Dickson, CEO of PSC. “New variety and high quality menu options paired with outstanding service will improve the ballpark experience for all Mavericks’ fans.”

Professional Sports Catering, LLC, a full service food and beverage company, was launched in 2005 by Dickson and his partner, Sherrie Myers. Dickson and Myers, the successful owners of minor-league baseball teams, including the Lansing Lugnuts and Montgomery Biscuits, started PSC to serve the needs of minor league baseball teams across the country. With the addition of the Mavericks, PSC now manages the food and beverage operations for nine minor league baseball teams.
