A much-vaunted tradition in minor-league baseball is underway in Sugar Land, Texas: the owners of the new independent Atlantic League franchise is asking fans to submit ideas for a team name.

It’s a pretty straightforward process: Just go to namesugarlandsteam.com and suggest a team name. First prize: Two lifetime season passes for the team are the grand prize.

Given that the team will be flying to and from the rest of the Atlantic League, our team suggestion is the Sugar Land Frequent Fliers.
