Work resumes on new Winston-Salem ballpark

With financial issues addressed and a clearer ownership in place, construction of a new Winston-Salem Dash ballpark resumes in anticipation of a 2010 opening.

With financial issues addressed and a clearer ownership in place, construction of a new Winston-Salem Dash (High Class A; Carolina League) ballpark resumes in anticipation of a 2010 opening.

True, the work isn't exactly on a big scale yet: crews are out cleaning up the place, with subcontractors coming around in the last week to check on the status of the project. After the ballpark and the surrounding area is cleaned up, subcontractors will be out to resume work on the ballpark — if funding for the ballpark is completed by the city.
