A developer is pushing a minor-league ballpark as part of a mixed-use development in Stony Point, New York, a project that's a long way from the first shovel being overturned.

A. Jon Prusmack, president of the American Development Group of Orangeburg, told the Stony Point Town Council he'd like to see a mixed-use development on land owned by the city, complete with sports facilities, conference center, hotel, and a minor-league ballpark.

This is all very preliminary and may go nowhere, so it's a little early to be discussing what sort of team could end up there. We could be wrong but by our reading this would fit within the territory of the Hudson Valley Renegades (short season; NY-Penn League).
