The event will be held at the Millennium Center, 101 West 5th Street, downtown Winston-Salem. Here’s the full press release we received about the event:

After receiving more than 3,000 submissions from the community, reviewing countless designs and trademarks and considering multiple options, the Winston-Salem Professional Baseball Franchise is set to reveal their new identity at a special celebration titled Baseball New Year. The event, to be held at the Millennium Center in downtown Winston-Salem, is open to the public and will feature free food, entertainment and more, highlighted by the countdown to the reveal set for 12:25 p.m.

Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and entertainment, to be followed by a short program and the unveiling of the main logo. The reveal will be followed by the display of new team uniforms, hats and a few special surprises. The team will also introduce their field manager for the 2009 season at the event and once again offer the public a chance to participate in the identity of the club through another special opportunity.

Mayor Allan Joines, team owner Billy Prim and team President Kevin Terry will participate in the program.
