The Lake Elisnore Storm (High A; California League) have announced details on an extensive overhaul to seating options at The Diamond. Upgrades include changes to numerous levels of seating throughout the ballpark, including premium areas.
The changes will be completed in advance of the 2017 season.
The upgraded look and feel will alter the stadium’s seating layout. All but three sections of the park’s seats will be replaced and new viewing areas will be installed where there was once just stadium seating. The 5,139 fixed seats will be split into six sections:
- Home Plate Premium (Section 101-103, first 12 rows)
- Specialty seat with padding and a prim
- Home Plate High Tops (Sec. 101-103, remaining rows)
- Enjoy a beverage or cocktail like you’re at a bar… behind home plate!
- Home Plate (Sec. 104-107)
- Dugout (Sec. 108-113)
- Field (Sec. 114-117)
- Outfield (Sections 119, 121, 123)
- Three sections with original stadium seating.
Another new addition – located just below the concourse and above the Dugout section – will be Dugout 4-Tops, which feature four padded chairs around a table in a private viewing area, complemented by waitress service and an unbeatable view of the action.
“We’re beyond excited about the evolution of our seating at The Diamond in 2017,” Storm general manager Raj Narayanan said. “New seats are the first step in upgrading the ballpark; we’ve stayed true to the original spirit of the facility while creating new hangout areas for our fans young and old. With the help of Larimer Design, the City of Lake Elsinore and our consultant, Dave Oster, we are committed to continuing to improve every aspect of the fan experience. Despite all the changes, this is just Phase One; many more upgrades are scheduled for the future. It’s a great time to be a Storm fan.”
