No changes in Philadelphia Phillies farm system

Philadelphia PhilliesNo changes were expected and none were announced, as the Philadelphia Phillies will retain a full-season farm system with Lehigh Valley, Reading, Clearwater and Jersey Shore.

The only change: the Clearwater Threshers will move to Low A as a result of the Florida State League transition, while the Jersey Shore BlueClaws will be moving to High A, presumably as part of the new Mid-Atlantic League.

“We are happy to extend an invitation to these four affiliates who have each been a great partner to this organization for many years,” said Phillies Assistant General Manager Bryan Minniti. “We look forward to continuing our relationship with all four affiliates and their respective communities where we have such long-standing ties.”

Here’s the most up-to-date information about the current affiliation status.
