Stay classy, San Diego: Ron Burgundy was the winner as the San Diego Padres unveiled an Anchorman mascot race at Petco Park.
The mascot race features anchorman Burgundy, sports anchor Champ Kind, field reporter Brian Fantana and weatherman Brick Tamland. And, as you might expect 60 percent of the time, Burgundy won the inaugural race:

According to the Padres, the race was developed by the team, Paramount Studios and the leads in the news team: Will Ferrell, David Koechner, Paul Rudd and Steve Carrell. It won’t be a nightly promo, but will be held on weekend games and special events. Don’t act like you’re not impressed.
