The Madison Mallards (summer collegiate; Northwoods League) have launched a Dad Bod Contest, where the winner’s dad bod will be sublimated onto a shirsey (T-shirt jersey).
There are no requirements on the type of Dad Bods that can be entered – big or small, the Mallards want them all – but there are two instructions when submitting your front and back images: 1) stand with your arms out in a T shape and, 2) keep your pants on.
“About a year ago I added the title of ‘dad’ to my already rocking bod and officially became part of the Dad Bod crew,” said Mallards General Manager Tyler Isham. “This contest is about celebrating all the shapes and sizes of Dad Bods out there. While only one Dad Bod will be chosen as the winner to be sublimated on a shirsey, all dads with a Dad Bod can be a part of this wonderful celebration.”
The winner of the Dad Bod Contest is guaranteed their own shirsey and will also receive tickets for them and their family to attend the Father’s Day game, recognition on the video board, a PA announcement, a first pitch, and ultimate Dad Bod bragging rights.
Full details on the contest are available on the team’s website. Dad Bod submissions are open now through March 15. An explanation as to why a Dad Bod should be chosen is required with each submission, so break out the funny stories, heartwarming tales, or just tell us about how much you like drinking ice cold Bud Light.
The Dad Bod shirsey will be a giveaway item for fans at the Duck Pond on the Father’s Day game, June 16 at 1:05pm. Quantities and sizes will be limited.
