With their 2018 season just around the corner, the Johnson City Cardinals (Rookie; Appalachian League) have unveiled a series of new logos. The logos will be featured on merchandise and promotional material.
“The Johnson City Cardinals have a strong and consistent brand in our community,” stated Johnson City Cardinals General Manager Zac Clark. “We haven’t had many changes to our brand profile over the last few decades and we wanted to refresh and strengthen that profile. All of these new secondary logos are a nod to our parent club, the St. Louis Cardinals. We feel this new profile will give us a stronger connection to the big club while maintaining the strength in our current brand!”
The new Johnson City Cardinals logos all have ties to the St. Louis Cardinals logos, with multiple logos featuring the iconic Cardinal on the baseball bat. The new logos will be on merchandise for the 2018 season, and will be able to be purchased in the Birdhouse Store online at jccardinals.com or in person at TVA Credit Union Ballpark.
The Cardinals will commence their 2018 home campaign against the Kingsport Mets on Friday, June 22, 2018.
