The Pulaski Yankees (Rookie; Appalachian League) have hired a new assistant general manager, naming Betsy Haugh to the position.
Haugh is joining the Yankees after spending the last two seasons with the Danville Braves, another Appalachian League club. She had most recently served as the Braves sales and marketing manager, a position she assumed in September 2016.
“I am extremely excited to join the Pulaski Yankees,” Haugh said in a statement. “I look forward to working with the Calfee Park ownership group and the Pulaski community to build on the great success the organization has had in recent years.”

Haugh has worked with the Appalachian League as a league publicist since October 2016, and is slated to continue working in that capacity while in Pulaski. This is the latest significant personnel move for the Yankees, who in December revealed that they had promoted Christina Edney to the general manager position. Edney served as the assistant general manager for the 2017 season, and will succeed Blair Hoke–who has taken a position with the Winston-Salem Dash (High A; Carolina League)–in the general manager role.
