Bring back the orange and blue! The Houston Astros will reveal the club’s new uniforms, logos, color scheme and mascot for the 2013 season on Friday, Nov. 2 at Minute Maid Park.
On hand for the party, the Astros will bring in current players Jose Altuve, Lucas Harrell, Jordan Lyles and Justin Maxwell, and future players Carlos Correa, Jarred Cosart, Jon Singleton and George Springer for a fashion show.
The new look is part of a total makeover of the Astros franchise for 2013. Besides the new unis, the team will also likely implement some ballpark changes for next season to go along with a move to the American League.
After the unveiling, the club’s new merchandise will be available for purchase directly from the home and visitor dugouts, which are being transformed into merchandise stands for the night. Hats and jerseys will be available for purchase.
