Another new independent North American League ballpark is in the works, as investor Brian Clark pitches the Dublin City Council on a $8-million facility in that Bay Area city.
Clark, whose Centerfield Partnership is also pitching a new ballpark in San Rafael, is looking for city funding for a ballpark that could cost between $5 million and $8 million, as well as land. He’s identified six possible locations for the new ballpark; city staff will be working with him on possible options.
A new ballpark would seat between 3,000 and 4,000. Clark has rights to the NAL in the Bay Area and envisions up to four teams in the area.
