It’s official: The Oakland Athletics will call Overstock.com Coliseum home after the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Authority approved a six-year, $7.2 million naming-rights deal at a Wednesday meeting.
The home of the Oakland Athletics and the Oakland Raiders will have yet another name, joining Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum (1966-1998, 2008-2011), Network Associates Coliseum (1998–2004) and McAfee Coliseum (2004–2008) in the naming-rights parade. The naming-rights deal starts immediately.
