The city of Edinburg is threatening to evict the Edinburg Roadrunners (independent; United League Baseball) because of unpaid rent.
The City Commission officially notified the team about the back rent and the need to work out a payment agreement.
The team, meanwhile, is preparing for the 2010 season and says it will pay the back rent within 30 days.
