Super Independent Baseball has announced the first annual Super Independent Baseball Summer Tour to be held during the summer of 2010. The 2010 Summer Tour will bring the affordable family entertainment of minor-league professional baseball to communities throughout the country.

“We are tremendously excited about the 2010 Summer Tour. Over the past several months we have started and continued conversations with many communities and various ownership groups regarding bringing professional baseball to their home towns. The SIB 2010 Summer Tour will provide us the opportunity to do this for several of these communities and provide the communities and potential ownership groups an opportunity to gauge local interest in minor league professional baseball,” said Super Independent Baseball President Jamie Toole. “Like the circus and the county fair, all the trappings of minor league baseball are now available for your home town beginning in the summer of 2010.”

More information including the events calendar as well as the specifics of the 2010 SIB Summer Tour will be forthcoming.
