AP is reporting the sale of the Chicago Cubs and Wrigley Field is almost done, with an agreement between Tribune Co. and the family of Tom Ricketts submitted to Major League Baseball.
The deal came together over the weekend, with the Ricketts paying around $900 million for the Cubs, Wrigley Field and a stake in a local sports cable network.
