This gives the ‘Hoppers 65,935 fans in 10 April openings, for an average of 6,594 per game. The previous April record was set in 2007, when the team averaged 6,384 fans per contest.
"It’s a long season, but it is extremely encouraging for us to have drawn so well this month," said Grasshoppers President and General Manager Donald Moore. "With all the uncertainty in the economy, we are thrilled with our start to the year. I hope things continue in this same direction throughout the season."
