Bullfrogs tie ticket deal to NCAA tourney

Another imaginative way to sell tickets for what many are expecting to be a miserable 2009: the Green Bay Bullfrogs are throwing buyers of a $50 fan-deck pass into a NCAA tourney pool.Another imaginative way to sell tickets for what many are expecting to be a miserable 2009: the Green Bay Bullfrogs (summer collegiate; Northwoods League) are throwing buyers of $50 fan-deck passes into a NCAA tourney pool.

Here’s the deal. A fan buying two Leinies Fan Deck Passes at the regular price of $50, they will receive two fan deck passes free as part of an ongoing "economic stimulus package" offered by the team. In addition, the fan will be matched up with one of the 65 teams from the NCAA March Madness bracket, by process of a blind draw conducted by “Jeremiah the Bullfrog,” the teams’ official mascot.

The contestant with the March Madness Championship team will win a Leinies Fan Deck Season Pass, a $425 value.

“This is a great way for us to help stimulate the local economy and provide quality affordable family entertainment at the same time,” said Bullfrogs General Manager Dave Kost. “The March Madness twist adds a unique element of fun to it for everyone.”
