Defenders outline Holman Stadium renovation plans

The American Defenders of New Hampshire unveiled their plans for changes to Historic Holman Stadium.
The American Defenders of New Hampshire (independent; Can-Am Association) want to make several changes to the WPA-era Holman Stadium. And while none of the changes are major, they may need to be approved by Nashua because of the historic nature of the ballpark.

The biggest change would be the expansion of the left-field picnic area, first installed in 1988, The Defenders would build a "back porch" there, complete with rocking chairs and concessions.

Another notable change would be the replacement of the current kids area with a VIP area, with cabanas for rent. And the old football press box would be converted and expanded into a pub.

The Defenders would fund these changes on their own; no city funding would be necessary.
