Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously ruled no errors were committed when approval was granted to a new ballpark in the city’s Frame Park area.
The decision, which came at last night’s meeting, clears the way for a 2010 opening of a new ballpark by Chad Bauer. Bauer had sought to open a new ballpark in 2009 but basically ran out of time before deciding to shift to the 2010 opening.
Opponents of the proposed ballpark in suburban Milwaukee wanted to repeal the city approval of the plan, saying proper paperwork had not been submitted to the city. Their argument was struck down.
