Though much of 2008’s roster will consist of returning Nashua Pride players, the longer-term plan is to emphasis the military background of players; the team will wear camouflage uniforms, and you can expect an exhibition or two against the U.S. Military All-Stars. No surprise, really: Terry Allvord, one of the three owners of the team, was the founder of the U.S. Military All-Stars Red, White and Blue Tour that drew pretty decent crowds playing against summer-collegiate teams last summer. The group now runs two military teams, traveling domestically and internationally. More from the Manchester Union Leader.
